Marion W. Hylton

Name : Marion W. Hylton
Bio: Born on a farm near Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and lived from about age ten in St. Paul Minnesota, Marion W. Hylton has been an active painter most of her life, and works in the realistic tradition. Her formal art training began at the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, where she was the recipient of a 4-year scholarship. There she studied with Hilton Leech, the renowned watercolorist for whom an art center in Sarasota was named. Besides watercolor, her recent work, primarily landscapes and portraits, has included oil, acrylic and pastel, all of which are of equal interest to her.
