Andrew McDermott

Name: Andrew McDermott, SFCA, PSC
Bio: Born in Bolton, Lancashire, Andrew McDermott moved to Canada when he was twelve. In North Vancouver he studied graphic design and illustration at Capilano College, where he also took life classes and worked for some years under Kiff Holland and Alan Wylie. He was never taught pastel, but tried it during a life class and kept it up. He is a great admirer of Burton Silverman and Richard Schmid. Andrew is a signature member of the PSC.
