Jian Wu

Name: Jian Wu, PSA
Bio: Jian Wu graduated from the prestigious Art College of Qing Hua University (former Central Art and Crafts College of China) in 1984. During the period between his graduation and his emigration to the United States, Jian Wu work was commissioned for five star hotels and his art was exhibited in China’s National Art Exhibitions. In 1993, he went to study at the Graduate School of Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and joined the university’s faculty shortly afterward. He received his Master of Fine Art degree in 2000. Jian Wu has been a regular prizewinner in the Pastel 100, receiving both an Honorable Mention and Second Place in the portrait and figure category in 2008; First Place in 2007 and Second Place in 2005.
Jian Wu teaches drawing and painting at his studio in Union City, CA.

Navigation: Main menu remains on top. The gallery menu stays on side. An easy layout to follow – my only criticism is lack of advance information on medium. This could be taken care of as a tool tip when the cursor rests on a thumbnail.
