Michele Choppe

Name: Michele Choppe
Bio: Michele Choppe has been a full-time painter since 1998. An instructor at the French Académie du Pastel since 2006, she was herself instructed in pastel painting at the Société des Pastellistes de France after taking lessons in Paris and elsewhere in France. She completed her training in Art History at the Ecole du Louvre.
Media: Pastel; watercolour.
Subjects: Floral; Still life; Figurative; Landscape.
Style: Representational.
Navigation: Website is in French.
Gallery: You can choose to browse the galerie by subject matter or by medium via the dropdown lists. The subjects are listed as Tout type (all); Portrait; Paysages (landscapes); Fleurs; Nu (nudes); Natures mortes (still life). The mediums of choice are Toute médium (all); Aquarelle (watercolour); Pastel; Peinture a l’huile (oil); Technique mixte. Don’t be fooled – this is a site based on a template - a bit like FineArtStudioOnLine - the categories Nude and Oil are blank. Just choose All for both dropdown menus and you will get 13 pastels and one watercolour.
Image View: Click on Fiche beside each thumbnail to see an enlarged image. I strongly suggest you right-click and choose the open in new tab/page option, as the PC back button from enlarged image requires you to “confirm form resubmission” and this is unnecessary hassle. When you do enlarge the image, you will see two versions on the new page; the larger one includes the data on medium and dimension, when completed and price if available. The smaller image can be clicked again to give an even larger image, but not easily downloaded unless you know your HTML. Le vase bleu is 1224 x 874, 208 KB.
Demo: No.
Blog/EBay/Flickr: No.
