Name: Judith Cutler, PSA
URL: http://www.judithcutlerart.com/
Bio: Judith Cutler earned her BFA/Graphic Design degree from Pennsylvania State University, and studied oil painting with Elaine de Kooning and Hobson Pittman. She worked as a designer for more than 20 years for companies that included IBM, Holiday Inn Corporation, and Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Judith has taken pastel workshops with Sean Dye and Jimmy Wright. Her many awards include 1st place in the Abstract and Non-objective Category of The Pastel Journal’s 2008 Pastel 100.
Medium: Pastel.
Subjects: Landscape, Still Life, Abstract.
Style: Representational and abstract.
Navigation: The web template that Judith makes use of is one I had not met before. Once you enter the galleries, or look at her bio, you are into a new Apple web page template called MobileMe.
Gallery: Abstract, Non-objective; Landscape, Architecture; Floral Botanical; Still Life, Wild life, and more. Each gallery opens on its own web page.
Image View: Each gallery may be viewed in one of four different modes. These are on the gallery.me.com web template and not all the options – including the download option – function. However, individual thumbnails will open in a slideshow, with data, and can be saved. Feathered Nest is 15 x 10.5 ins. (I chose it because of Sharon Bamber’s treatment of a similar subject two posts ago!)
Demo: No.
