Terry Donahue

Name: Terry Donahue
Bio: Terry Donahue was born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1956 where he developed an early awareness of the beauty and importance of nature. Terry began painting with oil on canvas as early as the fourth grade, and later earned a degree in fine art at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he had received a full scholarship for basketball. After an extensive career in commercial art, Terry decided to devote his full time to fine art. Pastels eventually proved to be the perfect medium for his impressionistic compositions and provided the challenge he was looking for, allowing him to breathe life into his wildlife subjects and create a brilliant sense of motion. His works have been featured in several art magazines, including Wildlife Art magazine, and the Pastel Journal, and his paintings have been showcased in many prestigious wildlife exhibits in North America and Europe. Terry lives with his wife and three children in Omaha, Nebraska.
