Diane Rudnick Mann

Name: Diane Rudnick Mann, PSA
Bio: Diane Rudnick was born and grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts. She now lives in Los Angeles, California. After an early training at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, Diane started art courses in 1999, first at UCLA, then Associates in Art, the Scottsdale Artist's Academy where she studied with Doug Dawson, Sally Strand, Jane Lund, and more recently the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art, Reseda, CA.
Artists that influenced Diane even before she started drawing these artists include Robert Bechtle, Richard Estes, Charles Bell, Ben Schonzeit, Audrey Flack, Alice Neel, Paula Rego, Balthus, Eric Fischl, Ralph Goings and a group of realists including Charles Scheeler and George Tooker.
Diane was a Finalist in the Still Life & Floral category, The Pastel Journal 3rd Annual Pastel 100 Competition, 2002 and in the 9th Annual Pastel 100 Competition, 2008.
