Milton Meyer

Name: Milton Meyer, PSA
Bio: Following two stints in the military as a paratroop officer, Milton Meyer has successively and successfully pursued two professional careers - first as a tax and corporate attorney (which included heading his own large Denver law firm for 23 years) and since 1983, as a pastel artist. Without benefit of artistic training he is, nevertheless, a signature member of the Pastel Society of America, the Pastel Society of the West Coast (with designation as"Distinguished Pastellist") and Knickerbocker Artists. He has been named an artist member of the Salmagundi Club, New York, NY, and is a Founding Director of the International Association of Pastel Societies. His highly representational work reflects his extensive travels and is held by collectors across the United States and in a number of foreign countries. It has been reproduced in numerous art publications in this country and abroad. Meyer is based in Littleton, Colorado. His work and technique were featured on the August 2005 issue of the Pastel Journal, along with Dick McEvoy and Barbara Makanowitzky.
