Bio: Brenda Boylan was raised on the California coast. She was taken under the wings of her neighbor, oil painter Robert Guise, when she was 11 years old. Brenda went on to take a Bachelor of Science Applied Art & Design degree, Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, 1986.
Brenda worked as a graphic designer for Nike and has also worked on projects for Avia, Adidas and Columbia Sportswear.
She likes to paint en plein air, working indoors in her Portland, Oregon studio during the winter.
