Bio: Armed with an honors BFA from CSUF (California State University Fullerton), Lyndelle Stonik moved to Germany in 1982 where she became a member of the Kunstlerverein, was published in the Schloss Exhibition, and had a solo exhibition in the Condor-Prell Gallery, Cologne. Returning to the USA in 1988, Lyndelle was accepted into the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach where she exhibited consistently over seven years. Her expertise is often requested for lectures, demonstrations and judging art shows. Lyndelle has exhibited nationally as well as internationally in prominent galleries and museums, in solo and group shows, as well as frequently placing “First” and “Best of Show” awards, including Best of Show at USPA’s Second Annual Juried Show and First place in the San Clemente Juried Plein Air Competition. Her work is in public and private collections around the globe.
Lyndelle Stonick is also recognized for her teaching ability. She has been an Art instructor for Saddleback College, Mission Viejo, since 1995, where she teaches drawing and painting. She is also an artist representative for Chroma, Richeson, and Maimeri. She has been an exhibiting member of Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, Southern California Plein Air Painters Association, and Southern California Artists Association. In 2006 she founded, along with Evgenia Gennaria, the United Society of Pastel Artists (USPA) and was its first president.
Stonick's work has been featured in books and in magazines such as Southwest Art and The Pastel Journal.
Medium: acrylics, pastels, oils, watercolors. Lyndelle has also made and sold a line of silver and gold jewelry, exhibiting at the Bowers Museum Store, Santa Ana, Ca.
