Teri Gortmaker

Name: Teri Gortmaker PSA
Bio:  A native of Texas, Teri Gortmaker moved to Colorado in 1967 to attend university,  receiving her BA in 1970.  Teri married in 1971 and when her youngest daughter started school she worked her way through Betty Edwards Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain (like a lot of us – what a seminal book!) She loved the process so much she has been drawing and painting ever since.  
Teri has been a signature member of the Pastel Society of America since 1993, a signature member of Plein Air Artists of Colorado, and is a member of  the American Impressionists Society, Pastel Society of Colorado, Women Artists of the West and Oil Painters Of America. Teri has won numerous awards and has been juried into the exhibitions of Salmagundi Artists, Knickerbocker Artists, International Association of Pastel Artists, and Scottsdale Artists School "Best and Brightest".  In January 2011 she was one of a talented quartet of  artists  featured in the Pastel Journal's "Painting the American Landscape”.
Teri Gortmaker lives in Boulder, Colorado.
