Name: Donna Van Tuyl
Bio: Donna Van Tuyl of Goldendale, Washington State,  has embraced the great outdoors all her life. She spent her youthful summers on horseback, exploring the mountains around Central Washington and as an adult changed to hiking, biking and running in the woods and mountains throughout the Pacific Northwest. She now carries a camera, along with painting gear on her trips that now focus on her plein air artwork.
Donna has taken workshops with Elizabeth Mowry, Richard McKinley, Albert Handel, Bob Rohm, Judith Cunningham and Jennifer Evenhus among others. She lists among her favourite art books Carlson's Guide To Landscape Painting, and Composition of Outdoor Painting by Edgar Payne.
Donna has been winning awards for her work since 2003, when she first began exhibiting.
