Willo Balfrey

Name: Willo Balfrey, PSA
Bio : Willo Balfrey was born in 1939 in Durango, Colorado, a town surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, and is now living in Weed, Siskiyou County, California, surrounded by Mount Shasta and the areas of Northern California and Southern Oregon.
Willo has been a professional artist for nearly 20 years now, 16 of those under Master Pastelist Richard McKinley. Willo has trained extensively in fine art, and is now teaching. She is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and the Pastel Society of the West Coast, Sierra Pastel Society and Northwest Pastel Society.
Her work received an honorable mention in the 2012 Pastel 100, and featured in the February 2011 Pastel Journal feature, Pastel Landscapes Coast to Coast. Her work was also included in the International Artists publication, 100 Ways to paint Seascapes, Rivers & Lakes, Volume 1.
