Subjects : Landscape. This is one of the finest landscape websites I have come across in some time.
The quiet atmosphere of the countryside of Western New York, where she lives, drew the artist to plein air landscape painting. Kathleen calls the painting experience "yoga of the mind". She will paint in a series to explore her subject at different times of the day, year, or different view points. The pastels that she completes in the studio are from plein air paintings and or her own photographs.
